EDUCATION AS AN INTEGRAL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE QUALITY OF THE SOCIAL WORKER’S PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

The article presents the results of researching the problem of the quality of future social worker’s professional training through the analysis of its integral characteristics. It’s substantiated the position of the importance of general guidelines for the professional formation of the future specialist and program learning outcomes, which can be diagnosed and analyzed. The problem was investigated at the methodological, theoretical, and practical-functional levels in the context of transition from an information-reproductive system of professional education to a competency-based, person-directed one (from the model of a knowledgeable specialist in the field of social services to the model of a competent, educated person). It was analyzed the concept education" as integration of knowledge, skills, personal characteristics that have a meaningful nature and determine a person's attitude to values, his worldview, motivation for self-realization, selfdevelopment, self-improvement. It’s proved that determining global personal characteristics in the structure of education indicates that the orientation of the model of education is super subjective and relevant for all educational levels. Also, education can act as an integral characteristic of the quality results for all interdependent educational systems, which is especially relevant for ensuring the continuity of education. Also, based on the generalization of theoretical positions and educational practices, that focus on the formation of education as a result of quality education, system forming characteristics were determined and adapted to the specifics professional training of a specialist in the social sphere (ability to constructivism, selfidentification, interaction based on cooperation, ensuring personal orientation of the educational process, etc.). Thus, it’s formed a complex representation of an educated specialist in the social sphere, who has a fundamental theoretical and practical basis, personal characteristics, that defines the ability to act effectively in situations that are constantly changing.
