The article is devoted to the sociological analysis of deprived groups of children who lack basic resources necessary for comprehensive development, such as a stable family environment, access to education and medical care. The study examines the main forms of deprivation – material, social, emotional – and their impact on the psychological state, social adaptation, academic success and future life opportunities of children. The causes of deprivation and risk factors are determined on the basis of qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis. The article emphasizes the need for reforms and the development of new approaches to support children from deprived groups to promote their successful development and social integration. Special emphasis is placed on the analysis of social support and policies aimed at improving the quality of life of these children. The research also aims to identify effective social practices and programs that will help reduce the negative consequences of deprivation, provide children with equal opportunities and support their harmonious development in society. Sociology studies the causes of such groups, including economic inequality, social isolation, and dysfunctional family structures. Special attention is paid to the impact of deprivation on the socialization of children, their educational trajectory and future employment. Such children often face isolation, psychological difficulties and problems in adult life. Analyzing the causes and consequences of this phenomenon makes it possible to find ways to improve their situation through social interactions and community support. Sociologists emphasize the need for systemic support, including government programs, public initiatives and the involvement of social workers. It is also important to develop social deprivation prevention strategies aimed at reducing social risks. Attention to this problem contributes to the creation of a fairer and more inclusive society.
