THE ROLE OF SOCIAL DIAGNOSTICS IN PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The article describes the essence of social diagnostics, its structure, principles, methods and features of implementation in social work. It is determined, that social diagnostics as a stage of project activity involves the process of collecting, analyzing and interpreting data aimed at identifying social problems, determining the needs of the target audience, and predicting the possible consequences of project implementation. The following characteristics of social diagnostics in the context of project activity are named and characterized, namely: integration with the purpose of the project, orientation on limited resources, risk and impact assessment, flexibility and adaptability, participation of the target group, consideration of all aspects of the social situation.The stages of social diagnostics in project activity are determined, which include preparation, collection, analysis and processing of data, formulation of a diagnosis, development of recommendations, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of measures aimed at solving social problems and achieving project goals. Each stage is aimed at a deep understanding of the situation, forecasting consequences and optimizing the implementation of project decisions.It is noted, that high-quality social diagnostics is a key condition for the success of social projects, as it allows for a detailed study of the social situation, identifying both obvious and hidden problems, adapting ideas to real conditions and developing effective strategies for their implementation. It provides a reliable basis for making decisions aimed at achieving the project’s goals, and takes into account the needs of target groups, socio-cultural, economic and psychological factors that affect the success of activities. Thanks to social diagnostics, it is possible not only to predict potential challenges, but also to plan ways to solve them in a timely manner, which minimizes the risks of failure.
