NON-FORMAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTENT OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The article updates the problem of using the potential of non-formal education in the process of professional training of future bachelors of preschool education. By analyzing regulatory documents and modern scientific publications, the relevance and practical significance of the problem raised is established, the essence and content of key concepts and related ones are revealed. The characteristics of non-formal education are highlighted: autonomy of the activities of non-formal education centers; mixed-age composition and various spheres of activity of education seekers; flexibility of forms and methods; online learning; implementation of individual needs and personal responsibility of informal education seekers. The features of the implementation of non-formal education are presented on the example of psychological and pedagogical disciplines of the educational program «Preschool Education» of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Emphasis is placed on methodological approaches (axiological, competency-based, personally oriented and activity-based) and principles (variability, democracy, voluntariness, accessibility, flexibility) of organizing non-formal education in the process of professional training of bachelors of preschool education. Examples of certified online courses, webinars and conferences on educational platforms (Diya.Tsifrova osvita, Сoursera, Рrometheus, ЕdEra, Vseosvita, Osvitoria) are presented, the content of which is relevant to the educational components «General Psychology» and «Introduction to the Specialty», etc. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for implementing non-formal education during the professional training of future educators of preschool educational institutions are formulated: taking into account the requirements of regulatory documents; orientation on the content and specifics of future professional activity; ensuring personal orientation and individualization in the process of choosing the form and methods of informal education.
