Abstract

The article examines the problem of developing students’ creativity in an art educational institution under the conditions of digital transformation of the learning process. It is substantiated that creativity is a key 21st-century competence necessary for shaping innovative thinking, self-expression, and cultural identity. It is shown that art education provides a favorable environment for realizing students’ creative potential, while interactive technologies enhance opportunities for collaboration, reflection, and self-development. The main functions of interactive technologies–motivational-stimulating, communicative-reflective, and activity-creative–are identified, and their influence on the formation of cognitive activity, emotional intelligence, and group interaction skills is analyzed. Based on the synthesis of research by Ukrainian and foreign scholars, the article determines the pedagogical conditions for the effective use of interactive technologies in art education. These include creating a safe and trusting educational environment, combining traditional and digital forms of artistic activity, focusing on the process of creative exploration, applying formative assessment, and supporting students’ internal motivation. It is emphasized that interactive technologies ensure the synthesis of emotional, cognitive, and activity components of learning, fostering flexible thinking, initiative, communication skills, and aesthetic sensitivity. The study argues that interactive technologies are an effective means of developing the creativity of students in art schools, as they form an environment of co-creation, support individual creative strategies, and provide integration of traditional and digital artistic practices. A promising direction for further research is the development of diagnostic tools for assessing creativity levels and the implementation of digital methods in the practice of art education.
