EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT FORMATION OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF THE SOCIAL SPHERE

Abstract

The article examines the problem of forming social responsibility among future specialists in the social sphere, in particular, the educational and methodological support of the specified process. It is indicated that since the social responsibility of a specialist in social work plays an important role in establishing (and in the conditions of full-scale Russian aggression in Ukraine – in preserving) people's lives and its normalization, the future social worker must possess a whole set of knowledge, abilities and skills that would help him in the performance of a wide variety of professional tasks. Special attention is paid to educational and methodological provision of the educational discipline «Social responsibility», which is studied by students of the specialty 231 Social work at the second (master's) level of higher education in many institutions of Ukraine and abroad. It is based on the idea that the curriculum of this discipline should reflect both theoretical and practical aspects of various types of social responsibility (individual, citizen, family member, specialist), which will be manifested in work with different categories of the population (people with disabilities; children and youth; elderly people; combatants, demobilized and their family members; forcibly displaced persons; those living in de-occupied territories, etc.). The author proposed topics for lectures and seminars, a list of tasks for independent and individual work, a list of scientific and methodical sources that students of education can use in the process of studying the educational discipline «Social Responsibility». It is noted that a promising direction of further research in this area is the study of foreign analogues of domestic programs with the aim of borrowing the best experience in the formation of socially responsible behavior of specialists in the social sphere.
