COMPREHENSIVE: SOCIAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, PROFESSIONAL AND LABOR REHABILITATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES: FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF THE KYIV CITY CENTER FOR SOCIAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, PROFESSIONAL AND LABOR REHABILITATION «ASKOLD»

Abstract

Summarizing the practical experience of the Kyiv city center of social, psychological, professional and labor rehabilitation «Askold» made it possible to find out that comprehensive: social, psychological, labor and professional rehabilitation is an effective tool for the integration of people with disabilities in all spheres of life. From the point of view of the effectiveness of the influence on the individual as a complete social, psychological, physiological and functional object, the complexity of the applied methods and types of rehabilitation with simultaneous consideration of the individual characteristics of the person, interests, abilities, which are aimed at overcoming the social isolation of persons with disabilities, is important , increasing their physical activity, social adaptation, self-knowledge, psychological recovery, and the ability to enter resource states. It is worth noting that labor and professional rehabilitation is a leading tool for the integration of persons with disabilities in all spheres of life. In particular, the following types of occupational therapy work were developed: carpentry; locksmiths; cartoning and binding; weaving (making nets, hammocks, products from vines, straw); artistic and applied (sawing with a jigsaw, burning, wood carving, embroidery, making artificial flowers); artistic (drawing, sculpting, photography, appliqué, origami); plant care; care of animals (horses, large and small cattle, pigs, rabbits, birds, etc.) for the purpose of zootherapy or animal therapy; sewing machines; household (from self-service: cooking, washing dishes, laundry); cleaning their living rooms, small household repairs; working with a computer. Based on the results of the study, 32 annual training programs were developed in various directions, which include theoretical and practical parts (Amateur theater studio «Contact», Aromatherapy, Gardenotherapy, Ecology of the metropolis, Ethics and aesthetics, Inclusive tourism in the conditions of the Kyiv Zoo, Fairytale therapy, Film therapy , culinary therapy, Music therapy, Useful life skills, Learning basic social skills, Neurogymnastics, Online tours of Ukraine, Basics of modeling, Basics of professional orientation. Industrial tourism, Basics of professional orientation. Testing, Tik Tok Basics, Financial Literacy Basics, Sand therapy, Professional information. Guide to educational institutions of the city of Kyiv, Professional information. Guide to professions «Profession wardrobe», Career orientation training, Needlework, Nordic walking, Social therapy, Photo hunting, Civil defense, Digital literacy, Eloquence school, Mindfulness, Soft skills). As a result of the implementation of these programs, the following rehabilitation effects were revealed: social effect; psychological; professional; educational; labor effect; improving physical health. The indicated rehabilitation effects contribute to the restoration of household, social and work skills and as a result the quality of life indicator increases, because a person is able to feel his independence and independence.
