PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE FORMATION OF INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article provides a general scientific description of pedagogical technologies as a set of consistently implemented actions, operations using appropriate content support, forms, methods, means, resources and human potential. The essence of intercultural competence is analyzed as an integrative professionally determined quality of students, which is formed in the process of professional training in higher education and is based on intercultural knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life and successful professional activity in an intercultural environment. The features of the implementation of the main stages of the implementation of the technology for forming intercultural competence are characterized: conceptual-targeted, structural-content, procedural and result-evaluation; their educational and methodological support is disclosed. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for the effective choice of technologies for the formation of intercultural competence of future specialists in higher education institutions are substantiated: the formation of motivation of subjects of the educational process for learning and professional activity in an intercultural environment; their active involvement in the creation of a tolerant intercultural educational environment in higher education institutions and society; ensuring active self-development and self-improvement of education seekers through the use and integration of innovative pedagogical and information and communication technologies; creating a target setting for the active assimilation of intercultural knowledge and the formation of intercultural skills and their application in the process of professional activity in an intercultural environment.The purpose of the article is to analyze the essence and structural components of the technology for the formation of intercultural competence of students in the process of their professional training in higher education institutions.In the process of research, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization of information on Ukrainian and foreign websites, as well as research of publications in the Google Scholar electronic database, were applied.
